RANCH CUSTODIANS

Jordanna Anawalt, a visionary and spiritual guide, has dedicated her life to bridging the gap between humans and the natural world. Rooted in her indigenous heritage and a profound connection to the Earth, she has emerged as a leading voice in conscious living and Equine Experiential InnerStandingTM.

From a young age, Jordanna was drawn to the mystical and the unseen. A transformative out-of-body experience in her adolescence further ignited her spiritual journey. This experience instilled in her the profound understanding that we are the architects of our own reality, empowered to choose our own paths.

In 2018, a pivotal moment occurred when one of her horses, a wise and sentient being, imparted a profound message: a direct correlation between global well-being and humanity's relationship with horses and the natural world. This revelation ignited a deep exploration of indigenous wisdom, leading Jordanna to travel to Australia, Indonesia, and Hawaii. There, she immersed herself in the teachings of Medicine Keepers, gaining profound insights into the interconnectedness of all beings.

Inspired by these experiences, Jordanna founded CHOICE Tribe, a sanctuary where individuals can reconnect with their true selves and the natural world. Through Equine Experiential InnerStandingTM and indigenous wisdom, she guides people to cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, empathy, and harmony with nature.

Jordanna has joined forces with Broken Arrow Ranch and Sanctuary as Herd Manager and Ranch Caretaker along with Andrew Houghton. Their combined knowledge, talent and leadership brings many new opportunities to our collective horse sanctuary. We look forward to sharing horse updates, new programs, retreats, and volunteer opportunities in the days ahead.
