Volunteer
Volunteering at Broken Arrow Ranch is a hands-on way to connect with the land, the horses, and the heart of our sanctuary community. From helping with daily horse care to supporting land stewardship projects, volunteers play a vital role in the rhythm of ranch life. Whether you're joining us for a single workday or becoming a regular part of our team, your time and energy make a meaningful impact—while offering the chance to learn, grow, and be part of something bigger.
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and skills to join our mission—from animal care assistants and property maintenance workers to land stewards and event organizers. Our regular seasonal volunteer days run from May through November, complemented by In-Residence Volunteer positions available year-round. Experiential Immersions
At Broken Arrow Ranch, we believe the best way to learn and grow is through full immersion in the experience. Our experiential classes and immersions, ranging from half-day workshops to week-long retreats, invite you to explore a specific focus in depth—woven through the land, the horses, the wildlife, and the community. Whether you're deepening your understanding of horsemanship, ecology, or personal transformation, these experiences offer a rich, embodied way of learning that stays with you long after you leave the ranch.

These gatherings are more than events; they are moments of connection, reflection, and belonging in the rhythm of the land.

Medicine Horse Monday
Medicine Horse Monday: Sanctuary Sessions, is a weekly livestream where the herd’s wisdom guides you toward deeper presence, balance, and intention. Led by Jordanna Anawalt, each session explores themes inspired by the horses, helping you reconnect with yourself, shift your mindset, and engage with the natural rhythms of life. Through guided reflection, shared insights, and community connection, these sessions offer a unique opportunity to learn from the sanctuary herd—no matter where you are.
Medicine Horse Monday can be joined as a stand-alone offering, or you can become part of the Wild & Wise Herd, where full access to these sessions is included along with exclusive behind-the-scenes content and deeper community engagement.
